Credit Repair - Any Good Companies?
Do to the recent economy I have really bad credit now and I need a credit repair company. I see credit repair companies all over the internet but has anyone really used any of these guys and had a their credit repaired? And please don't give me the name of a credit repair company that charges like $2,000 to repair credit. I keep hearing that these kinds of companies are just scam artists they care mor about cash collecting than credit repair. Then there's credit repair companies like lexington law, which I hear about but I've never heard any feedback about them. Are they any good at credir repair or not? So, if you or someone you know has used a company that is any good at credit repair please let me know. Thanks,

- "credit repair" in it's name is a scam. most are not doing anything that you cannot do yourself for the price of postage. 1. the only thing that's going to get accurate negs (valid collections, debts, judgments, inquiries, etc) off of your reports is either time (7.5 years from the date of initial delinquency) or a pay for delete agreement with the creditor. companies like "scamington law" promise you the moon and may temporarily improve your credit by challenging all negs on your reports. problem is that those negs will simply return in a few months. 2. if the info is inaccurate (mistaken identity, invalid debt, outside of reportable age), then you could get this removed yourself by writing the credit bureaus. edit: don't listen to whomever "neg'd" me as well. everything in what i told you is 100 percent correct.
- No firm can remove accurate negative info from your credit history...Only the passing of time and not defaulting on more accounts will undo the damage.
- sorry to say but credit reapair co. really work for the credit card companies
- Unfortunately, a credit score is a lot easier to damage than it is to repair. But learning how to fix bad credit may save you from embarrassing loan or credit card denials, or even from being turned down for a new job. But there are ways to do the work yourself. There are also inexpensive kits that are available to help you in taking the right steps. We offer several on our site. If you find yourself in a situation where your credit score has dropped due to late payments, excessive debt, or any of a number of other factors, it is key to take proactive steps to repair your credit by raising your FICO score. The FICO score is the industry standard for assessing an individual’s credit worthiness and is a numeric grade that is calculated from a variety of historical components around that individual’s payment history and credit management. http://www.low-cost-loan-secrets.com/how-to-fix-bad-credt
