How do I repair my credit?
I need to bring my credit up by 45 points. I have heard of places that consolidate credit card bills to assist in credit repair, but my debts are not from credit cards, mostly hospital bills and payday loans. I want to buy a house within the next year and need to get everything paid off. Any suggestions?

Older than 2 years is not affecting your score but paying it will show a current paid collection item. When you go for your FHA loan, they will not hold medical against you. I'll give you a couple ideas: You could use simple credit repair and / or an authorized user tradeline program to raise your score rather easily. I know a loan officer who can go as low as 540 on FHA loans as well. Focus on paying off the payday loans as FHA will make you pay those in either case. Good luck.
