Do companies offering credit repair for a continuing monthly payment actually work?

- hargrave and ass only charge 250 with no monthly fee....they work. i had a repo and some credit cards that i went overboard with and they took them off me credit report... the only thing that they didn't take off was my lake child support... they said that they couldn't do that.......my credit score was 460 and now it is 620
- There are plenty credit repair agencys out there that are good, you just have to do your research. Also, check online, for testimonies from other consumers. I know people that work with some agency, and cleared their credit, it just took them at least a year or so. And within that time they also had to acquire good credit by using a secured credit card, and paying on time. They now have great credit within the higher 700's. They have definitely learned their lesson.
- I agree with DAS. There are some good credit repair companies out there. Just do your research and you will find the right one. I found this one: http://bestcreditcardratings.com/credit-repair/
- It depends on the company you use. I recommend United Credit Education Services at a good website. they're a 501(3)(c) and charge a one time fee for a one year program. The neat think is you can track your progress as you go thru the process in a secure back office that they provide you access to when you enroll as a client. You can also talk with a live customer service rep during normal business hours. I've found some good information here too... http://debt.123thebest.info/credit_card.html Good Luck.
