  1. You shouldn't pay anyone to fix your credit. You can fix your own credit at no cost simply by writing to the appropriate credit reporting agencies and disputing the inaccurate information. You will want to read, the FTC's Credit Repair: Self Help May Be Best brochure at the link below
  2. There are some online. Basically they look at your report and they tell you how to try to get the credit companies to remove the negative comments on your report. I went through bankruptcy. It's been about 2 years. What I did is I got a credit card as soon as I could when I used it I paid it off as fast as I could. Now within 2 years my credit limit is $5,000. I still will get denied credit from time to time. But my credit score keeps going up and it is just a matter of time before it is back to normal.
  3. nope I did it myself for free creditinfocenter.com buddhibbs.com
  4. I used to work for one and they can help quite a bit. they're able to work with your creditors to help consolidate your bills into a low monthly payment. They show you based on your income how much you can spend each month and the remaining money they invest for you. Once the invested amount reaches a higher plateau they're able to eliminate a large chunk if not all of your outstanding debt. I've found some good information here too... http://debt.knowledged.info/credit_card.html Hope it all works out
