Credit Repair........Can you get paid adverse accounts removed early?
I know that you can write a dispute letter to the credit bureaus if they're reporting inaccurate information, but what if the information is correct but the account has already been paid? Is there any way you can get it removed before the date set for removal? Also my medical bills are in clear view to everyone. I thought that they were supposed to be marked "Med1" and only could be viewed by myself? Any suggestions on how to clear up my credit and have these items removed early and get my medical bills to be marked appropriately?

- There are some methods to having information removed that don't involve disputing. Disputing is fairly fruitless for the most part and can take a while to get nothing done. You're almost better off trying to negotiate directly with your creditors with regards to payment options and how they change or delete their notations on a particular trade line after payment has been made. There are laws and by-laws that exist that could help you remove those items from your credit report. Visit http://level2.drcredithelp.com for details on this type of credit repair.
- Derogatory accounts continue to show for 7-years from the date of first delinquency weather you pay them or not. I've found some good information here too... http://debt.knowledged.info/credit_card.html Hope that helps.
