  2. Forget repairing it overnight because it is not possible! And forget the scam credit repair companies. You score is unbelievably low!! Is it a FICO? Here's my suggestions: Get your 3 national credit reports Read the newbie & credit boards on creditboards.com Remove all personal info that is incorrect on your credit reports such as all old addresses (be firm they only need your current address), correct misspelled names, wrong SS#s and don't bother putting your current employer on them. Do all of this by USPS mail. When you receive the correct reports back then ask for verifications on all the negative accounts. Again when you receive the reports back go over them again and look for mistakes....such as maybe an account on the TransUnion says the chargeoff was 05/01/05 while the Experian report says it was 06/15/05. One is obviously incorrect so you need to point out the date is wrong but are not obligated to tell them the correct date. By law if it is wrong they have to remove it. Next send validation letters to all the collection agencies. Simply print out by hand a simple sentence such as "Please validate account #xxxxx that you have listed on my credit report" They have 30 days to respond. Send all letters to collection agencies by CMRRR (Certified Mail Return Receipt Required) and if you pick up a stack of the green cards and slips at the post office before you write the letters you can write the receipt number right on the letter and make yourself a copy. Keep a good papertrail!!! After you clean up your reports then start out with accounts such as Crown Jewelers, secured cards such as National City or Orchard, and maybe even a WalMart. WalMart starts low, $75, but if paid on time they increase about every 4-5 months.

You must respect your money. know that you achieved that. your next is to get a secured credit card. do not use more than 40% of your total balance, make all of your payments on time and pay double the minimum payment. don't miss any payment on this card or any other credit you my still have. after 24 month you will have a good credit rating.
