What are the latest scams to hit the u.k.? Are people still falling for that Spanish lottery?

and has anybody ever paid one of these credit repair companies cos I received a letter today and it looked convincing but I wouldn't dream of sending off the 68 quid they asked for

  1. I got contacted by some company telling me that me and three other frends of mine have been selected in a draw to win a holiday worth about £1000 each. BUT, i first had to attend some two hour function of theirs, and it is here that they would try to sell me all kinds of useless stuff. Mind you, their tactics are very plausible and can easily fool many people. Obviously, the holidays arent really there for you.
  2. pirate dvds!!.some people are selling blank discs to people for hugh profit!!!!!!!!!!! another is the street auction you know the ones in unused shops nearer xmas time. they con you out of your money big time dont go there steer clear dont pay it . the 68 pounds to repair your credit only benefits one person ..... the guy who wrote the letter. best way to repair credit is to get a loan , pay off your debtors and keep up regular payments. that really helps out your credit score oh and dont resend applications to same credit company too many times that decreases your rating BIGTIME. good luck
  3. i dont know for me ive never fallen for any of these scams because i know there is no such thing as a free lunch ,i just think its fukin sad that you cant trust anyone and these bastards can sleep at night, there are a lot of stupid people out there willing to part with there hard earned cash to these mother fukers.
  4. If you send me £1.50 I will tell you.
  5. The latest scams are usually the same old scams. And YES, people are falling for them. If they weren't, the scam artists would quit using them.
