what are some ways to repair a bad credit score?
I"m already working with a debt management program to pay off all my current debts.

- if you have open debts contact the companys and make arrangements to pay the debt of. Other than that im not sure. In time most defaults are removed form your credit file
- First, I'd personally fire the debt management company. These companies will ruin your credit. Oftentimes, they will intentionally NOT make payments on your accounts so that they can attempt to settle the debt. This will trash your credit. Finally, it's best that you get out of debt yourself. Many people that goto credit counseling/debt management end up right back in debt because they haven't changed their behavior (spending) which is the reason they got into debt. I hope this helps. - First and foremost stop using your credit cards,and stop opening new credit cards. Then stop buying extras like music, movies, coffees etc. then get a part time job and with the extra cash pay down your debt. I participate in and strongly recommend Oprah's America's Debt Diet. Suze Ormond is good too.
