I know people can do this on their own, but many do not have the knowledge and time to do it. Best way to repair bad credit? Short of the obvious,is anyone fimiluar with working with a specific "bad credit" repair company. I have been told they can pretty much wipe your credit clean and find that very hard to believe. I have tax leins and a discharged bankruptcy on my report and was told they can wipe that out.Very doubtful i believe, and dont want to just start throwing money out to these people with no results. Credit repair? We've been working on our credit for a home loan. My husbands score started at a 560. We settled with a collection agency and i have paid down 2 of his credit cards to $50. The collection agency so far has only reported the difference of our settlement. Supposedly sometime this week, they are supposed to report the full balance as paid in full (because of some kind of waiting, process time) Anyway, we also started working with a credit repair agency a few weeks ago. And supposedly, they have already removed 13 inquiries. Score is now at a 591. That 31 points! We need to be at a 620. So at least another 29 points. We are also thinking of doing a rapid rescore because of the collection agency. With credit repair and rapid rescore working for us, do you think we can get the score to a 620, and how much longer do you think it'll take????

How to repair credit in my case? Currently my credit score is very low as i did not make any payments since1999 and so on because of which 3 of my Credit Card companies charge off, reported loss or Cancel/Closed the accounts, and they in turn sold them to Collection companies who are reporting them every year to the credit bureau, by which my account looks so bad most recently they reported in December 2005, I know it's my mistake and i want to repair it, Some one told me that even if i repay the whole thing still it does not help me as the history of past 5to6 years still remains the same in you history is their any other way which helps me in repairing my credit, Please advice me a good solution.

Credit Repair? Hello, I am trying to get financed for a mazad miata. The salesman I have been working with indicated that because of several dings on my credit report he could get me financed but only with about 5K down. He advised me that he knew someone who could legally dispute alot of the dings and get them removed from my credit report. He claims he was able to get his own scroe raised above 700 points and said he could show me proof of that. My question is it worth going to see him to get more information on repairing my credit. He said it would only cost about 300-500 dollars and would only take about 45-60 days. Is it that easy to legally dispute debts and get them removed from my credit report. Am I looking at hidden charges?

Credit Repair? I recently stopped paying my credit card and car payments for about 4 months to catch up on my mortgage payment. My mortgage and my car payments are now caught up. Credit repair? 2 years ago, my credit score was 640. I got 3 credit cards- 2 high interest clothing store, one major credit card. I lost my job, and all three were charged off. When I was being called by collection agencies, I was terrified and told them I was still working, even though I couldnt make payments. Ive paid all but a few hundred dollars off, but have these 3 charge offs on my history. My score from one of the 3 major places was 530. Ive only checked with one becuase I am told it hurts to check too often. Also, when collection agencies report to the credit bureaus every month, does that prolong the length of time that delinquency stays on your report? For example, an account has a "last reported" date of 03/2008 but the last payment was made in 2002, does the 2008 date prolong that negative report to be deleted from the credit report?

credit repair? I have made late payments on credit cards and it seems as if i am drowning in debt i am a single parent who went back to school to get a better job and now i just dont know how to get ahead.

Credit repair? Recently I viewed my credit report online. I decided to dispute some of the potentially negative accounts. I did this through experian. They "deleted" or removed some of them off. Some were updated, and others remained. Once they are removed are they gone for good???
